Our Very First Meeting

The particulars of how this group started vary in description… and I don’t know that it really matters!

We do know that the drink of choice for some of us, for some 30 plus years, has been George Dickel
Tennessee
Sippin’ Whisky. We do know that one element has been the catalyst to a buncha laughs and a lot of fun,
whether you ride a motorcycle or not. That just happens to be one of the many hobbies shared by this group.

While the name may be a new excuse to assemble in a more frequent and organized manner, the grass roots of
a majority of this group goes way back. We’ve been seen frequently sporting a red solo cup, obviously containing
our favorite beverage, so how much more appropriate could it be!

In short, the name and this group are synonymous. That being the short side of a long story, we
met at Kenny’s garage for our very first organized gathering on March 27th, 2008.

Our first meeting attendees were Keith, Cub, Tim, Greg, Joel, David, Eddie, & Kenny.
Our meal was London Broil, & Grilled Chicken with Sautéed Onions!

David & Eddie were a little late. Seemed they had to load a Billy Goat that David had sold. Let us say they just had
a little trouble loading. The story told by these two had us rolling in the floor! David even showed us his injuries
associated with the unruly goat! What a better way to start a meeting! That’s kinda what it’s about!

This was our first shot at organization. It seemed to go pretty good. The Red Cups didn’t hurt anything either!

Good buncha guys! We just kinda “Hung Out” and discussed where we wanted to go with this thing!

Whatever the outcome, we pledge to have a good time.
Always have, always will. It appears we are going to try to meet the 4th Thursday of each month.

We have a start!
